Finally ! someone seem to care!!

I found this ad in one of our local newspapers, it’s actually kind of cool to know that there is someone out there who actually care about the animals, and that one of the large companies here in Doha to actually pay some attention to the safety and the welfare of the animals.

It felt amazing , really A BIG thanks to Mawashi and let’s hope other big companies can pay some attention to some other similar causes .

But you really should check out the ad and see the eyes of the ‘7aroof in the bottom picture , it really will literally break your heart.

"meskeen maydree that being tied up in this season, is the least of his problems =p"

What Every Graphic Designer Should Do Right Now

While trying to balance the different areas of our life, there are things that we often forget and neglect to do.

With today’s fast-paced society and the busyness of our every day, we tend to overlook some important things. I would like to remind every designer today about some of these tasks that we often put-off but are so important and necessary to get done.

1. Back up all your files right now. (Local and Online)
2. Get your online portfolio up or update your current portfolio right now.
3. Finish that project right now.
4. Clean up your desk and organize your files now.
5. Gather and collect design resources now.

Here’s a small list of resources that you should be collecting now. Whether you’re already a professional graphic designer or you’re just getting started, gathering these resources for your future use is definitely something that you can’t put off.

  1. Actions for Photoshop

  2. Brushes

  3. Fonts

  4. Icons

  5. Ideas and Inspiration

  6. Layer Styles

  7. PSD Files

  8. Stock Photos

huge fire in Souq Al Deera

My friend can see this huge fire from her window in Doha City. A friend of mine that works in one of the buildings on Hamad street near the Fardan building told me it’s in Souq Wagif or Aldeera or Aljabor – little confusing . I got messages saying there were a lot of damages and inshalla no casualties .

my design for muslim community in USA

I have designed a banner for Ramadan for a mosque in Clifton, Cincinnati OH.

I was very happy to do this for the muslim community in USA.

I actually designed it on September 05, 2008, and I just recently got the photos of my design hung in the mosque. It really made feel great to see it hung up..

Muntadhar al-Zeidi free at last!

Muntadhar al-Zeidi, the Iraqi journalist who threw his shoes at George Bush, has been released from jail.

He is the Iraqi journalist who became a hero to millions worldwide for throwing a shoe at then-president George W. Bush says that he was tortured in jail.

Muntazer al-Zaidi's was imprisoned for the offense. He was released this week with a missing front tooth, he told of beatings, whippings and electric shocks after his arrest. He said he now feared for his life, and believed US intelligence agents would chase after him.

He pledges to reveal the names of top officials who brutalized him after his arrest.

I believe he is a hero , a true hero. A man who actually stood up for all of us. We are missing on men of this type.
I heard that women are waiting in line for him to greet him and even to propose marriage... if so is true , he defiantly deserves it
